Knightsbridge Apartments: Family homes in Arlington, VA
VCDC is proud to welcome Knightsbridge Apartments to our portfolio.
Oct. 2020 - Located in the heart of Arlington, VA, the Knightsbridge project involves the rehabilitation of an existing apartment complex with 37 LIHTC units serving individuals and families. Six units will be outfitted with accessibility features for disabled residents.
VCDC invested $4,577,380 in equity, including $1,297,804 of Historic Tax Credits, and is partnering with developer and sponsor Wesley Housing Development Corporation of Northern VA, a current partner from Housing Equity Fund of Virginia XXI, LLC and the Culpepper Gardens project, with over 40 years of experience developing affordable housing in Northern VA.
The rehabilitation includes upgrades to heating and cooling systems, energy star appliances, counters, cabinets, vanities, landscaping, exterior sidewalks, a parking lot, and infrastructure for high speed internet. Construction is expected to be completed in May 2021.
